Music Choice: Monday 24th - Friday 28th November

Want to brave the cold and catch some quality live music this week? Read on for our guide to what's hot around London this week...

Paul Weller

Swedish beauties Those Dancing Days bring their pop tunes with a heart to play Goldsmith's Student Union down in New Cross on Monday night - tickets are £5 each. Meanwhile the legendary Paul Weller plays Brixton Academy for the first of three consecutive nights - tickets are a rather steep £35 each from Ticketweb.

Maybe you like a band that's not the usual indie fourpiece? If so, maybe make your way to Scala on Tuesday night to catch the amazing 30 piece I'm From Barcelona - tickets are £10 each. Alternatively, Californian post-hardcore stars Finch play the Astoria 2 - tickets are £12 each.

Norwegian black metallers Satyricon play ULU on Wednesday night for some nice 'n loud music. Tickets are £14.50 each. For something a bit more left-field, the Barbican plays host to the Guillemots - tickets are on sale priced between £13 and £22.50 each

Guilty pleasures ahoy at Wembley Arena on Thursday where McFly play their pop-tastic tunes to thousands of screaming girls - tickets are between £16 and £26 each. Over in Kings Cross, rocky singer / songwriter Ida Maria plays Scala - tickets are £10 each.

It seems its a week of Scandanavian music this week, with Lykke Li rounding things up on Friday night playing Koko - tickets are £12 each. If you want something a bit louder, pop punkers New Found Glory play Brixton Academy - tickets are £16.50 each.

We always recommend ethical gig trading site Scarlet Mist as your first port of call for tickets particularly when they're sold out, so check them out and beat the touts. Failing that Gumtree is always a friend.
