As of yesterday, much to the relief of anyone living along the stretch between Gospel Oak and Willesden Junction. The section of track had been closed since 1 September for improvements "necessary to deliver a more reliable and efficient service to passengers." Despite the works being completed to schedule, whether the actual trains will now be running on time remains to be seen. Do let us know. Transport geeks amongst us however will miss the novel detour via abandoned, overgrown and dilapidated former BR station, Primrose Hill.

No - still late. 12 minute delay yesterday, 8 minute delay yesterday. And I had thought they were extending platforms and adding an additional carriage but they haven't.
That's still to come, this was all about widening a tunnel under hampstead so the freight trains from Tilbury can use the Barking line instead of the North London line, allowing more passenger trains on the NLL.
New trains due in the spring, but the'll still be three car.
Ooo Ooo, I'm getting it tomorrow to Gospel Oak. Can't wait (to report back my delay).
Hmmm I went to catch the ten to and as I got to the platform the previous train was drawing in. So that was good for me, but lateness seems to be the order of the day. Even outside of rush hour.
