September is up to the eyeballs with amazing events and things to do. For those who like their cultural outings to be as cutting edge and experimental as possible, there is Collision, a three night festival of music, film, visual art and live performance. Aptly named not only because the other collider is going to be turned on this week, but also because you can expect artists working at the bleeding edge of their genres quite literally colliding with one another as they clash, collaborate and, as it is experimental stuff, perhaps even cuddle one another within the confines of Area 10.

This art space in Peckham, behind the famous library, is going to be throbbing with brain-mashing multiple artform experiences. Thursday is mainly film, animation, video art and projection. On Friday, the music and sound artists will take over the programme. And then on Saturday... that's when the worlds collide and you can expect a bit of everything and anything.

If you're spoilt for choice elsewhere in the music, film, art and performance world, you could cover all your bases and discover a taste for something you never knew you liked in this three day gig. Let us know what you saw, what you liked, what you learned in this auspicious week for collisions.

Collision at Area 10, Peckham, Thursday 11 to Saturday 13 September. For more information go to the Collision website
