Preview: Beer Exposed

Dubbed “the first independent event of its kind to be held in London,” Beer Exposed aims to bring beers, brewers and connoisseurs from around the world together for a unique experience “designed to expose you and your friends to the incredible diversity of tastes and flavours that beer can offer.” How thoughtful.

The idea behind this bevvy exposé is to showcase up-and-coming artisanal beers, celebrate the UK’s favourite beers and demonstrate how to choose beer as “a more flexible alternative to wine when matching with food.” Essentially, Beer Exposed is going to be an all-things-beer opportunity for savvy drinkers to sample and purchase beer (and beer related stuff) while rubbing tankards with other beer-minded folk.

The founders of Beer Exposed have described their do as a “more sophisticated and stylish … individual experience … to expand your perception of beer and provide ultimate end of week socializing.” We reckon that means Beer Exposed ain’t gonna be the sort of beery event for adding to Oliver Reed T-shirt collections, but we shall see.

Beer Exposed runs from the 25th until the 27th at the Business Design Centre. Tickets start at £14 and can be booked online.
