Free Tonight?

BullThe League Against Cruel Sports hosts the finale of their Balls to Bullfighting competition, which asked people across the world to design a T-shirt highlighting the cruel and barbaric nature of this "sport". Despite general indifference from the public (72% of Spaniards have no interest, according to a 2006 Gallup poll), bulls are still slaughtered in their thousands each year across the Iberian peninsula. The event begins 6.30pm at East Village, 89 Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch (map). Entry is free, and most importantly, if you show up before 9pm there's free booze on offer. Saving the bulls never tasted so sweet.
