Fat of the land

Barking and Dagenham and Bexley are the top two 'fat boroughs' in the capital, according to a new map showing the nation's obesity levels. Nearly one in ten residents in the poorer boroughs are registered with their GP as obese, twice as many as in the healthy, wealthy locality of Kensington and Chelsea. Camden also weighs in with a super-slim achievement: only 3.9% of its inhabitants are registered as obese, though it might be easier to stay trim when you can nip into Fresh and Wild for your tea on the way to Proud for a vodka and slimline tonic. The Tories would argue that its all your fault - what do you think? Post comments here.
