Weekend Round-Up

- RIBA have commended the Terminal 5 building and Wembley Stadium. As if they could get away without praising Wembley….
- A new report on gun crime fails to report anything that’s particularly new.
- The police seem to have misplaced a bailed terrorist.
- Pleasure cruises that are a bit too pleasurable: police raids net some dodgy substances.
- The BBC have admitted liability in a case of asbestos-related death.
- Barmy Barnet are now issuing Pray and Display parking permits.
- Ken is ‘fascinated’ by Boris. We’re sure the feeling’s mutual, Ken.
- A teenager has been stabbed to death in York Way.
And here’s what we think we might have learned by this time next week:
- That Andy Murray rocks;
- That Will Smith still rocks.
- And that most people are ignoring the ‘credit crunch’ (Londonist wants to book its holiday this week – bargains galore there ain’t).
