While we're waiting for details of the new Bond film to start leaking, The Barbican are celebrating what would be author Ian Fleming's 100th birthday with a weekend dedicated to the suave legend.

The full list of Bond films was voted down to 4 by Barbican website users and they've just announced that the winning films are 'Goldfinger', 'From Russia With Love', 'Casino Royale' and 'Dr No'. Showing on the weekend of 7/8 June, the screenings are £8.50 and filling up pretty fast. So for all of you who've fancied seeing Bond how it was meant to be rather than on your little television, now is your chance!

To top it all off, the Barbican bar will be serving Vodka Martinis (shaken, not stirred) before the most popular film, Goldfinger. And don't forget, if you want even more Bond, the Shaken Not Stirred exhibition is still showing at the Imperial War Museum for a good while yet.

Best of Bond, 7/8 June, Barbican, for more information go to the Best of Bond website here.
