This Saturday, independent record stores up and down the country will be celebrating Record Store Day and the main celebrations in London seem to be taking place at Rough Trade East just off Brick Lane.

Since opening last year the store has hosted loads of high profile instore gigs and won the title of Best High Street Retail Store of the Year at the Music Week awards. It's big and has so many different types of music that it's a great place just to head down and hang out at listening to new cds.

This Saturday will see the mother of all instore gigs with performances from midday till 8.40pm. No doubt happily feeding off loads of people being in town for the Camden Crawl, here's the line-up so far with more to be confirmed.

12.00 - 12.20 : The Virgin Passages

12.35 - 12.55: Eugene McGuinness

1.10 - 1.30: The Idle Lovers

1.45 - 2.05: Jason Molina
