  • Test driving a car has a whole new meaning as a dealership in London has rigged up a studio so you can check yourself out behind the wheel. Sorry, but Londonist thinks this is really really pathetic.

  • And today’s nail in T5’s tarmac coffin is the news that insurers are refusing to insure journeys that go through or anywhere near the place. They should shut it down and turn it into a centre for the transient homeless, said Londonist, flippantly.

      “Silly” – yes.

      “Unnecessary” – undoubtedly.

      “Vain” – probably.

      But “really really pathetic”? That’s a bit harsh, surely? After all, where’s the harm in it?

      I concede. It is completely harmless. It is even quite funny.
      But if people take it seriously, that’s when it becomes worrying!
