We've got to be honest with you, we're not particularly keen on The Guillemots; they make us kind of itchy and we want to reach into the television and give them a good shake. But if you are (and we recognise people do seem to like them quite a lot), then you're probably be very excited to find that they're playing a live club date this Saturday night at the relatively small 93 ft East.
A spinoff live event from Clash magazine - Clash Club, which you may remember from it's days at The Luminaire in Kilburn is heading East, and the noisy 'Mots are headlining their first event. Also on the stage will be Moshi Moshi's Liverpool signing Hot Club De Paris and London nine piece (!) The Bookhouse Boys.
In the other room the Clash DJs will be joined by those lovely boys from Art Brut so we can imagine the music might get a little random!
Tickets are £8, which is pretty great for a 3 band lineup, and the night will run from 8pm - 1am. We're thinking this one might be a sell out so if you're interested it might be worth stumping up in advance and buying your tickets here.
