Health Nut: Vegan London

Here at Londonist we love to indulge in all sorts of devilishly scrumptious treats. However, we know healthy, conscientious eating is the key to a happy life.

It’s hard to be a saint in the city, especially when trying to eat healthily and conscientiously. That’s why we truly appreciate Vegan London for providing “perhaps the most up-to-date information on the best vegetarian restaurants in London that are suitable for vegans,” along with “details on the best places for shopping, as well as resources for visitors to London.” Vegan London’s thorough index of Where to Eat impresses us immensely, and VL’s corresponding interactive Google map is invaluable in the search of London’s vegan and vegetarian establishments. In fact, the index and map helped us to track down one of our absolute favourite London eateries, Pogo Café. We’re in equal admiration of the site’s Where to Shop listings and find the Visiting London section to be as good a starting point as any for visitors (regardless of any dietary inclinations).

Whether you’re a born and bred Londoner or you’re planning to visit for the first time, we recommend giving Vegan London a hearty look.
