Experimental hardcore stars The Locust play The Underworld on Monday night. Tickets are £12 each, and still available for box office collection. Emo favourites Circa Survive play the Barfly, though tickets are long gone. The Ravonettes play Bush Hall for a sold out show, former Japan frontman David Sylvian plays Royal Festival Hall, with a smattering of tickets available at £37.50 each. John Mayer plays the first of two sold out nights at the Royal Albert Hall.
European indie folk threesome Herman Dune play ULU on Tuesday – tickets are £10 from the usual sources. Kosheen bring their chillout electro to Koko – tickets are £15 each. Noise rockers from Oregon Get Hustle are playing Barden's Boudoir – tickets are £5 from We Got Tickets.
Finnish battle metal stars Turisas play the Carling Academy Islington on Wednesday night – tickets are £9 each. Misfits, the horror-themed punk rockers from New Jersey play the Electric Ballroom – tickets are £16 each. Still on a loud, metal theme, Essex lads InMe play Koko. Tickets are £13 a pop. Scottish art-poppers The Dykeenies play a sold out show at Water Rats.
Platinum selling Ozzies The John Butler Trio play Brixton Academy on Thursday night – tickets are £17.50 each. Folk rockers Alberta Cross play the legendary 100 club – tickets are £7.50 each, whilst electro house stars Cicada play Cargo. Tickets are £8.50 each.
Friday sees the last of Prince’s 21 O2 shows, which is sure to see the short one go out on a bang. St. Louis-based ‘cuddlecore’ trio Bunnygrunt play The Horse & Groom (26 Curtain Road, EC2A). Tickets are £4 from We Got Tickets, though going rapidly. Finally, Germans Wir sind Helden play the Astoria 2 (or Mean Fiddler, dependant on how up with the times you are), though tickets are sold out.
