Following last year's inaugural success, the BBC Electric Proms return for a 2nd year from 24 - 28 October. Tickets go on sale today at 12pm and, given the calibre of the lineup, are expected to be snapped up in no time.

The posher version of the Camden Crawl, the musical Leccy lineup is spread across Koko, Roundhouse, Barfly, Dingwalls, the Jazz Cafe and the Electric Ballroom, with relevant musical films taking place in the Freedm Studio and Cecil Sharp House.

Highlights include Paul McCartney playing a classics set at the Roundhouse, Japanese "death jazz" artists Soil & Pimp teaming up with Jamie Cullum and Giles Peterson at Freedm Studios, Kaiser Chiefs reworked via the mind (and orchestra) of maestro David Arnold and the return of amazing London hip hop queen Estelle at the Jazz Cafe.

Some tickets are free, and others cost upto £25. You can check out the full line up at BBC Online and tickets go on sale at midday.
