Following it's postponement earlier in the year, a rescheduled date has just been announced for the annual Insomniacs Ball. Now held on September 29th at regular venue SE1, this year's ball has a distinctly Ed Banger whiff to it. This is by no means a bad thing, in fact if you're into your sleazy electro it's a run round the house hi-fiving people thing.
First up from the Ed Banger camp, snarky American pop rapper Uffie and her dj partner Feadz headline the event. She might look sweet and innocent, but think again, this girl is one rude chick. Check out First Love and Ready to Uff for a sample. Uffie and Feadz are accompanied on the bill by the mighty Sebastian who you might have caught as one of Daft Punk's tour djs on their latest touring stint.
UK artists represented include our ever favourite Dead Disco, New Cross' favourite kids Pull Tiger Tail, Southend's These New Puritans, "electro skunk rockers" We Smoke Fags and the ever entertaining Man Like Me.
