Calvin Harris

Want some free live music this evening on the way home from a long day in the office?

Calvin Harris (of “Acceptable in the 80’s” fame) is playing a free set at Urban Outfitters on Oxford Street. The Scottish electro maestro will be trying his best to convert his songs into acoustic gems, though unsurprisingly they don't all convert well to be played acoustically.

Calvin's album is at 8 in the midweeks, which bodes well for the future. Earlier he posted a myspace bulletin where he commented on how tired he is, so go along and cheer for him - he sounds like he needs the support at the moment.

We've just come off the back of 3 tours in a row, plus studio work...since mid Feburary I've had about 3 days off. I've been working a million times harder than i ever did at M&S.

He'll be playing about five songs as a sort of Glastonbury warm up show, so if you're in the area and haven't managed to get your Glasto tickets then why not pop around and give him your support? He'll be on stage from 6:30.

Calvin Harris at Urban Outfitters 200 Oxford Street, tonight from 6:30pm.
