If raucous, loud music festivals don't rock your boat, then this weekends Homefires Festival could be just the ticket for you. Now in its 4th year, it's billed as the a festival which "showcases the best of left-field *quiet* music" and will be held on Saturday and Sunday at Holborn's Conway Hall.

Run by UK folkster Adem, Saturday's bill is topped by Nina Nastasia, and also features Fionn Regan, St Vincent, Barbarossa, Emmy The Great and One Little Plane amongst others.

We're somewhat more excited about Sunday's offerings though which sees not only the recently signed Bat For Lashes taking centre stage, but also a solo performance from Metric's Emily Haines.Other Sunday artist include a surprise secret guest, Richard Swift and the curiously named Thee, Stranded Horse.

Tickets cost £22 and are on sale here.
