There’s a neat little audio interview with Children of Men director Alfonso Cuaron here.
He talks about the ‘fictional’ timeline that gave the film a firm grounding in the future and how scary it was when things like the London bombings actually started to take place. Also interesting is the idea that it’s less sci-fi and more of a chase movie and he gives us an insight into that spectacular long take towards the end.
