Try as we might most of our friends don't seem to appreciate the fact that we have Tuesdays off and might actually want to do something on Monday night. The fact that you'll only have 4 hours sleep really isn't a concern of ours, we just want to party... grumble grumble.

If raving it up is your idea of Monday hell, then Craft Night at Notting Hill Arts Club provides a rather interesting alternative combining music with, well, craft. Their flyer says:

"It's Craft Night again and TONIGHT we're rifling though our old copies of Take A Break, Viz and The Lady to bring you a collage making spectacular. On your arrival you'll be presented with lots and lots of cuttings, pictures and shiny stuff plus paper, glue and scissors – basically, everything you need to create your own collage. This month’s theme will be nightmares, so it’s an ideal opportunity to turn your worst dreams into a monstrous, therapeutic and perhaps even award winning creation."

Accompanying the craft musically will be The Mules and John Shuttleworth. Entry is £7 and it runs from 7pm till late. If we were at all crafty we would totally but there, but we're not - let us know what it's like if you go!
