If you live in Tower Hamlets (and only if you live in Tower Hamlets, sorry the rest of you), then the next three days provide a great opportunity for you to check out one of London's great tourist sites - the mighty Tower of London.

Now most of you probably have a job (take an extended lunch) but if not, until Wednesday, you have the option of visiting the Tower for £1. In order to claim your cheap entry, you just have to take along a Tower Hamlets leisure card or a library card.

The Tower is open from 9am and last entry is at 5pm. From Thursday entry is normal price and tickets can be bought for £15.00.

This special offer's been running for the last three months, not just the next three days.

Let's hope Tower Hamlets run the same one-quid deal again next November.

Yeah

Yeah I know, I just kept forgetting to post about it. I'm going to go by myself (boohoo) tomorrow.

Bugger it. Not only do I have a job nowhere near the Tower, but I don't have a Tower Hamlets library or leisure card.

I guess a Council Tax bill wouldn't do?
