Let's face it. There's little better than staying in a hotel room, particularly when a yummy hotel breakfast is included. So when The Hoxton Hotel opened last year we were jealous. It looked really cool from the outside, had a swanky looking bar and generally made us want to stay there, despite living ten minutes up the road. We were even more peeved when we found out there was an opening offer of £1 rooms which would have made all our hotel dreams come true.
So we're rather happy that the £1 offer is b-b-b-back today to celebrate Valentines' Day. There actually is no catch - from 5pm there are 500 rooms up for grabs at the price of £1 and 1000 more at £29. Whether the hotel is doing badly and need to fill empty space, we don't really care. We're just pointing our browser and hoping for a fat mattress and clean sheets for less than the cost of us getting there.
