Videobox: Klaxons - Golden Skans

Last time we wrote about The Klaxons we did it because they were cool and the song was alright. This time we're writing about them because their new single is immense.

Golden Skans is the 4th single to be taken from the band's forthcoming debut album Myths of The Near Future released on January 29th. Or if you like it's their first single proper - that is the first single to be released on a major label. If you've ignored all the Klaxons hype before now is the time to start taking notice. The new single is a bit of a departure from the full on wall of noise that is Magick or Atlantis To Interscope. That's not to say it isn't noisy, it is, it's just a bit more cosy. Yes, that's it ladies and gentlemen, forget 'nu-rave' the official word on The Klaxons from Londonist is that they are cosy. Lovely. The video is pretty nifty too. For starters and most importantly it shows us that The Klaxons are boys who have lovely hair. Once you get over that: the nakedness, the campness, and the ribbons make for a lovely afternoon. Fischerspooner would be so proud.
