Once your work gets picked as a Photo of the Day we like to keep an eye on you. Sometimes this means averting our eyes from drunken snapshots of you at an office party, but normally it means you treat us to great photo after great photo. Occasionally you do something that makes us squeal like Ned Beatty in Deliverance. That happened this morning when we saw Misty's hand drawn map of Hanwell.
Wow.
There's talk in the Flickr comments of spawning a new group dedicated to hand drawn maps of London and this makes us very happy and is maybe one of the best ideas we've seen this year. In fact if the resulting maps are as good as this one it's exactly the kind of thing that someone like The Friday Project should collect into a book.
Details: We love the Grim Reaper hovering above the road to Ikea, the warning of bunnies, daleks, unicorns... sure the A-Z is handy, but it's not a great read.
More of the same please! Misty is (we hope) going to set up a Flickr group for this kind of thing and we encourage you all to participate!

I spotted this just before leaving the house, it's top notch stuff and I'd be happy to scan in some of my own dodgy maps for flickr.

If the pool gets enough Londonish maps we'll be quite happy to make this a regular feature.
