If the dark nights and rainy days are making music fans amongst us bemoan the loss of the festival season, then you may be pleased to know that London's indoor 'one day festival', The Insomniac's Ball, is returning for a second event next month and the line-up is looking pretty damn fine.

Held at the cavernous SE1 under London Bridge, the night runs from 7.30pm until 6am the next day. Confirmed across 5 stages are electro-popstars Robots in Disguise, makers of the indie song of the summer The Young Knives, and Londonist favourites Dead Disco amongst cutting edge indie DJs along the lines of Jagz Kooner, Jeff Automatic and The Freelance Hellraiser.

Last year, there were complaints about drinks prices and the lack of avaliable line-up listings but we're prepared to give it a second chance. The promoter of the night commented that: "After the phenomenal success of last April’s event we wanted to build on the experience in every way. As well as a sterling line up of artists and DJ’s, we have placed the emphasis of having giggle too, that’s why we are encouraging everyone to dress up glam and decadent this time around. We want everyone to have some very special moments of madness! We have also have cheaper drinks prices!" Hurrah for cheaper drinks!

Limited NUS tickets are avaliable at £15, normal tickets at £21.50 and VIP at a whopping £60, all purchasable from Ticketweb.
