Hollywood hunk Vince Vaughn will grace the stage at The Old Vic this Sunday, 8th October, as part of The 24 Hour Plays Benefit. "In collaboration with six writers and six directors, the actors will create and stage new works in just one day".

Starting out in 1995 as "an opportunity to bring together a community of creative people in a time-limited experiment", The 24 Hour Plays "recently teamed with Planet Impact, a philanthropic organization, to produce celebrity shows benefiting a variety of worthy causes".

The event will be introduced by Oscar winner Kevin Spacey, artistic director of the Old Vic, and will be hosted by actress Catherine Tate. Other scheduled participants include Alexander Armstrong, Jonathan Cake, Pam Ferris, Dexter Fletcher, Anthony Head, Greg Hicks, Clare Higgins, Patricia Hodge, Tom Hollander, Kwame Kwei-Armah, Adrian Lukis, Nichola McAuliffe, Nick Moran, Tamzin Outhwaute, Clarke Peters, Greta Scacchi, Rachael Stirling, Dominic West, Alicia Witt, and Susannah York.

With ticket prices ranging from an incredible £75 - £600 there's no doubt that a lot of money is going to be raised this weekend alone, with a New York benefit taking place on October 23rd.

Oh, and the irony-filled word from the celebrity gossipmongers is that Vince's relationship with his co-star in "The Break Up", Jennifer Aniston, has apparently come to an end. Not content with slagging poor Jen off constantly by comparing her to Angelina Jolie, the press are loving the fact that she is single yet again.
