Wow, how did we miss this?
On August 19th, 2006 the Paddy Power World Strip Poker Championship will take place at Café Royal, London.
At this event we will attempt to set a world record for the largest strip poker tournament.
People will play No Limit Texas Hold´em for a winner-takes-all prize of £10,000 and free entry to the 2007 Paddy Power Irish Poker Open with a prize fund in excess of £1,000,000. Entry is free for all participants.
So let's recap: poker, stripping, free.

Ok, we're joking. We know this is going to be horrible.
Strip poker is just another of those horrible disappointments in life. It's one of those things that people tell stories about at school, and you hear rumours of when a friend of a friend of a friend and his friends got drunk on cooking sherry while someone's parents were out and they played strip poker and crazy, glorious, rude things happened.
When in actuality no one knows how to play poker properly, and no one is willing to remove anything more than their glasses.
So is a whole load of online poker players (picture the sterotype of an online poker player and then mentally undress them) in a room, slowly taking their clothes off while sat on regulation towels going to be in any way 'fun' or 'sexy'? No.
Of course some people might be doing it for charity, so good luck to them and everything, but we'll stick to sitting at home, watching telly in our pants, which is very similar but involves a bit less skill and far less Guinness World Record officials.
