Friday night is almost upon us and the options for fun-loving folks in London are almost overwhelming: a film, some theatre, a little loud live music, multiple amputations, bloodsucking, death by powertools... the chance to combine all these thrilling things is available in the form of the Texas Chainsaw Travelling Horror Show, coming to Tufnell Park this Friday.

Horror rock and roll band Texas Chainsaw joins forces with film-makers and a roster of rock bands and performers to bring taboo, horror and fetish to the audience. Film trickery is laid over the live music for an interactive night, "surgically combining equal parts theatre, film, fetish and performance art with the evil heart of rock and roll"... blood, gore and body parts all feature, hosted by "deranged scientist" Dr Marcusi, created by Johnny Dark.

This is not a jolly sing-a-long-a-Texas Chainsaw Massacre night out - the only hen nights likely to attend would be Dracula's brides-to-be who expect real blood in their jugs of Bloody Mary. Body parts hidden under the seats, severed limbs thrown into the crowds, mental film and music mash-ups are the order of the evening. Bring your fangs, fetishes and most fabulous fake scars.

The Texas Chainsaw Travelling Horror Show will be at Dome (Boston Arms) in Tufnell Park, Friday 25 August, 7.30pm onwards. Tickets are £11.00 in advance, £14.00 on the door, for more information go to the Flash-tastic website here.
