Scissor Sisters for Free!
Scissor Sisters

Well well, we know Ken's a fan of public transport, the congestion charge and er apparently lizards but would anyone ever have put him down as a Scissor Sisters fan?

According to The Sun, the New York band who release their 2nd album Ta-Dah on September 18th have been talking to Westminster Council about performing a free gig on Trafalgar Square on September 16th to say a thank you to all their British fans. Upon hearing about the plans, it's reported Ken put pressure on a reticent Westminster Council to fast track the event through licensing producures, and now it looks like it could be going ahead. Hooray!

Tickets will be given out via a text lottery similar to Live 8 last year, and full details will emerge on Friday. We'll bring you them when they do, but prepare to get excited. We heard the Sisters' new material at a special gig at Popstarz in June and they've well and truly not fallen foul of those pesky 2nd album blues. If there's one thing we like it's free things, and this one is going to well and truly rule.
