Barnet players will be staring menacingly at any physio who dares set foot on the Accrington Stanley pitch on Saturday as a second point in four days was snatched away from them deep into injury time, this time at Swindon on Tuesday night. Aussie striker Royce Brownlie, making his first appearance in this country, popped up to return a cleared corner with interest from outside the area to leave Barnet once again with nothing. Even taking an 18th minute lead through a composed finish from Nick Bailey couldn't change last Saturday's script. Accrington don't have any points either, so the league newcomers may yet prove excellent opposition as Barnet seek to break their own early season duck.

The first London derby of the campaign didn't disappoint as a lively encounter saw Millwall's Tony Craig sent off in the fourth minute at Leyton Orient. Ten-man Millwall fought to make a game of it, but a defensive mix-up borne of 15 new players trying to get to know each other let promotion goal hero Lee Steele in for the first before the O's superiority on the night was confirmed by Gary Alexander's side footer.

Brentford continued their 100% start to the season courtesy of Northampton 'keeper Lee Harper's failure to clear a long ball, letting in striker Chris Moore on his full debut to net the winner. Crystal Palace also have two wins from two games after coming back from a goal down at home to Southend to run out 3-1 victors. Arsenal also got three, though without reply, in Zagreb, to all but guarantee themselves a place in the Champions League. Extra income doesn't look like something they'll be short of given the increasingly clear cut absence of Ashley Cole and José Antonio Reyes from their plans, though with that stadium to pay for every little helps.
