A plane flying from London to Egypt has been diverted to the Italian airport of Brindisi due to a bomb scare, media reports say.
The 767 plane, operated by charter airline Excel, was flying from Gatwick to Hurghada, Egypt.
The plane landed safely in Brindisi, but there was no confirmation that a bomb was on board, reported Reuters news agency.
Emergency services and anti-terrorist officers were at the airport.
We're sure it's nothing, but if it isn't we'll let you know.
UPDATE: False alarm. Apparently "a passenger found a threatening note written on a sick bag in a seat pocket," but it was nothing.
