Tourfilter - Never Miss Another Gig

We know we have a big gig-going audience here at Londonist so we thought we should let you all know that the gig alert site tourfilter.com has finally made it on to this side of the Atlantic.

All you have to do is go to the site, type in your a few names of bands you're interested in seeing, and then as soon as they schedule a performance in London you get an email telling you when and where as well as a handy link for booking tickets.

What's nice about Tourfilter though is the complete lack of ads and there's also a bit of a community element to the whole thing (you've got to have some community if you're going to be online these days) so you can see who else is tracking the bands you're in to and what other gigs they're looking out for.

The London version is slowly being populated with gigs (hey, they've only just started over here) but if they go on to match the success they've had in cities like L.A., New York and Chicago this is definitely one to bookmark now.
