If you're not worn out and over-stretched running around London for this most exciting London Architecture Week and you feel able to fit in a bit of sculpture-snooping too, there is plenty to see in the third annual London Sculpture Week. Though aimed at collectors and buyers, the event is a good chance for anyone interested in sculpture and 3D art to see what is tucked away in the galleries and dealerships in town and also to meet the people who work in this field and learn more about this artform.
Until Friday 23 June, seven venues in central London are hosting displays of five different kinds of sculpture - all within walking distance in the Bond Street and St James area and all for free. The participating galleries and dealerships are all exhibiting their collections and highlighting items of particular interest.

Rossi & Rossi Ltd - Himalayan art: featuring the early eighteenth century Mongolian Shadakshari Avalokiteshvara, a rare, jewelled statue of holy figure
The Sladmore Gallery - 20th century art: featuring works by Bugatti, Degas, Maillol, Pompon, Bernard
Trinity Fine Art - European sculpture: featuring Renaissance bronzes
Rupert Wace Ancient Art - antiquities: featuring a special display of ancient and contemporary works arranged to contrast and complement one another
