Agreed – has to be one of the most amazing things I have ever witnessed in my life. I couldn’t stop grinning for hours afterwards.

that’s what the whale in the Thames was missing; a band, some dancing girls, and a sultan…could’ve been bigger too. i bet he feels like a dick now.

I saw it a couple of hours ago, from a few feet away, and I have to concur – it’s definitely one of the coolest things I have ever seen!
When I got to it, it was just trying to go down the end of Pall Mall before entering Trafalgar Square. It seemed to have got a bit tangled up with the branches of a tree, and various blokes were hanging off the side of the elephant and redesigning the tree using chainsaws!
I don’t know if that was an intentional part of the performance or not, but it certainly gave us a lot of time to examine the mechanical beast up-close…

Absolutely amazing!
I loved the attention to detail in the cars sewn into the road.
I’m gutted I absentmindedly left my camera at home today, will go back again with my camera for a few hours tomorrow I think.

It was absolutely amazing! The sight of his tusks coming around the corner of Haymarket will stay with me for a very long time. I never in my life thought I would be standing on a traffic island in the middle of Haymarket whilst being soaked by a huge elephant. Excellent!!

It would be nice to have seen a bettre view in the video for those of us not able to see it in person. Very cool reminds me of a dragon some one do some time back the was very big you could ride in it and it blew very big flame.
I hope some can post a better video of the Elephant soon
