A quick look at some of what's on gigging wise over the next seven days.

Tonight: William Besson will be alongside The Punkverts at the ‘Number 10 (10 Goldbourne Road) in Notting Hill and Londonist faves Lucky Soul are at the Colour Bar in Camden. Elsewhere some old Londonist muckas, The Colonies, perform for love and not money at the Betsey Trotwood, 56 Farringdon Road from 9.

Friday: Decent ska-punk from Less Than Jake at the Astoria, some old school punk from The Pretenders at Koko and some acoustic punk from The Evens at Regents Hall, 275 Oxford Street. Check for availability or go to Scarlet Mist for sold out tickets at cost price.

Monday: Again you'll need to check for availabilty but you've a choice of the original Anthrax line up at the Astoria, far from the original Sugababes line up at Hammersmith, and Micah P Hinson remains himself, if he ever really is himself these days, at Dingwalls.

Tuesday: Waaaaay sold out, but no doubt the show of the week. You may have to kill someone for a ticket, just don't tell anyone we told you to: The Broken Family Band at Cargo.

Wednesday: Some more old friends, The Sways, are on Blang's line up alongside Jinx Lennon, Naked And The Boys, King! and Sergeant Buzfuz, whose forthcoming album is already on our favourites list for the year. The 12 Bar Club, Denmark Street, £5 on the door.
