And so the names start to fall into place, although the placing of names to places won't fully be in place until the day. Between now and then you'll just have to hope fortune smiles on you and the walks are short, the drinks shorter. If you have no idea what we're talking about, it's this:
XFM's Camden Crawl takes place on April 20th, where you can wander around various venues scattered between the Barfly and Koko, taking in any one of a ton of bands, some old, some new, some borrowed, some blue, hoping to catch the next great thing and then finding out that unfortunately it's Hard Fi. The full list of who is playing where and when will not be available until the day when you sawp your ticket for a funky access all venues wristband. Then it's a lottery as to what bands clash, how far you have to walk between venues, whether they might be full and how soon you have to leave one place to catch the Futureheads headlinging in another (which they are).
To be honest, it's all a great deal of fun if you view the event as some kind of musical russian roulette, with random drug dealers thrown in to add local colour. We'll leave the comments open for you to nominate the coffee revels or the strawberry opal fruits in this batch:
