Eel Pie Eccentrics Mystery Jets have never been ones to do things in the regular rock'n'roll way, possibly why their Dad plays in the band, and possibly why they've just started an online treasure hunt ahead of their debut album and a small tour in support that takes in the Mean Fiddler on the 9th March. Clue 1. There's no place like home. Ah, that's easy then. Off to find a copy of Dark Side Of The Moon (they're a bunch of psych prog misfits after all) and The Wizard of Oz to synch up. Can it really be that easy?

Whilst dopey Doherty continues to throw hissy fits in the manner of the D-List celebrity he is now so ready to become, his ex bandmate, colleague and (if the latter has any sense) friend, Carl Barat's new band: Dirty Pretty Things go from strength to strength with a new date just added at the Astoria on the 14th May.

Hilarious humour merchants Shack (just kidding) anounce a show at King's College on the 15th May in support of their forthcoming new one, ...The Corner of Miles and Gil. Best joke on the door gets in for free. Ok, we were kidding about that bit as well.

Some gags will be inveitable, we're sure, on the Are You Ready For A Relapse tour when it rolls into Brixton on the 11th May. For anyone still scratching their heads, that's The Streets back on the road supporting The Hardest Way To Make A Living

And finally ATP curators, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs take in two nights at the Forum on the 16th and 17th May. Tickets onsale now.

It's also been announced that Maximo Park will be supporting Razorlight for their Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall on 30th March.

And finally congratulations to The Luminaire for being voted Time Out's Venue of the Year.
