Pictures At An Exhibition

The Music Room near Bond Street plays host to the Olympus Inheritance Exhibition on 17th-18th February, plugging Olympus's range of digital SLR cameras but also showcasing images from 22 photographers including David Bailey, Amanda de Cadenet, Mary McCartney Donald and the late Lord Lichfield. Given the range of photographers who have contributed to the exhibition you can expect a wide variety of styles, so if celebrity photos aren't your thing then take your pic from fashion, music, sport, macro, erotic, reportage, landscape or portrait.

The photos were taken within the last 12 months and are currently unpublished (although we hope to give you a sneak preview of a couple of them in the week of the exhibition), so you'll be seeing some new stuff. Taken on digital cameras, there's no prizes for guessing who made them.

We shouldn't be snide about the corporate side of this, though, as it does mean entry to the exhibition is free. Not only that, if you're one of the first ten visitors on Saturday 17th, you get to join 'storm chaser' and nature photographer Mark Humpage for a photography masterclass. Worth trading in your Saturday lie-in, that, surely?

The Olympus Inheritance Exhibition takes place at The Music Room, 26 South Molton Lane, London, W1K 5AB on 17th-18th February, 10am-6pm.
