I heard London Bridge was evacuated too. For a defective brake? Or was it a fire? Can they make up their minds what the excuse was?

Anyway, everbody knows that Bank and London Bridge are only ever closed when they suspect a terrorist attack. If a bomb blows up in the Bank-LB tunnel – and the tunnel breaks (which it apparently most probably would) – thames water (and probably whales) would flood into the entire tube network, killing thousands.
