In-Store Musical Mayhem

A quick heads up on two free music events happening this week in London Town.

First up, tonight sees The Sugababes following in the footsteps of several boring indie bands and playing a gig at the Apple Store on Regents Street. It's mainly going to be made up of competition winners, but the Sugababes website suggests there will be some tickets avaliable on a first come, first served basis at the store from 8pm. If you're in town then you might as well show up and try to get in!

And so onto an altogether much more complicated affair: McFly at Harrods on Thursday. Bare with us as we try to describe this complex process!

McFly are doing both a signing and a show in the store but in order to gain access to them you have to be one of the first 600 people to buy the McFly album Wonderland or their recently released (and actually very good) Live DVD. Upon purchasing you'll be given a wristband which gets you into the signing at 6pm where the band will sign the products you purchased. They will also give you some McFly wrapping paper and most importantly a card from them. 100 of the cards contain GOLDEN TICKETS which get you into an initmate short show with the band in Harrods after closing time.

This, to us, sounds very random, but also very fun. We are *so* going. Good luck and maybe we'll see you there!
