Guardian Travel Offer

If you normally do that pre-read shake out over the bin before you start reading the Guardian to get rid of all the junkmail, then you might want to be a little more selective this week as they're giving way a load of Oyster cards every day, as well as some nifty travel wallets.

Each copy of the paper today has one of these purple evvelopes inside. If you're lucky you'll find one of five vouchers entitling the bearer to a trip round Ken Livingstone's Chocolate Factory a one year Oyster card (Zones 1-6) to get you through 2006. There's also 1,000 Oyster cards pre-loaded with £10 on offer (although being the Guardian the front page does say to look on page 12 of the Sports section for the competition details).

It looks like there'll be a different travel wallet design each day, with with today's featuring a snap of the London Eye at sunset on the front and some Guardian blurb about 'thinking in pictures' on the back.

It's a nice photo but the wallet feels a bit cheap and nasty compared to the sturdy London Underground ones we're used to. But hey, who are we to turn our noses up at free London goodies?
