- £50 million is to be ploughed into trying to cut the number of deaths and injuries on London’s roads.

- Ken yesterday launched a new voter registration drive ahead of the council elections due to take place in May next year, "What happens in parliament, at City Hall, or on your local council literally can make a huge difference to Londoners," said Ken. We're thinking of not voting for Ken just because of that misuse of the word 'literally'.

- Tony is holding a breakfast meeting this morning to try and get the tourism industry to pull its socks up ahead of 2012.
