Clapham Junction Line-Side Fire
Commuter Hell at Clapham Junction

Commiserations to those of you reading this in the office, having struggled through a route involving Clapham Junction. We gather the journey must have been difficult, following a line-side fire early this morning. The fire's knocked out some of the signalling and, according to XFM's 10am news bulletin, there are delays of around 90 minutes going through the station.

The major service alteration, apart from the timetables being all out of whack, not that they mean much to commuters anyway, is that South West Train services between Waterloo and Exeter St. Davids are knackered, starting and terminating at Basingstoke until further notice. Fingers crossed everything gets sorted by tonight's rush hour.
