Canary Wharf Brought To Standstill As Tyson Strings Sentence Together

Was anyone curious enough to get down to Canary Wharf this afternoon where Mike Tyson was making an appearance at a book-signing?

According to this report the Wharf was brought to a "standstill" and there were "chaotic scenes as thousands of office workers and shoppers crammed in to try and get a glimpse of the former world heavyweight champion."

'Iron' Mike (also known as Rapist, Wife Beating, Ear Eating, Mentalist Mike) was there to help his friend, the Irish boxer 'Big' Joe Egan, launch his new autobiography, which also happens to have one of the worst titles for an autobiography we've ever heard: The Toughest White Man On The Planet.

At one point this afternoon the crowds apparently demanded a speech from Mike who responded by standing on a table and saying in that weird girly voice he has: "I'm here to support my good friend Joe. Buy the book."

(And, no, of course we wouldn't call him 'weird' and 'girly' to his face. We're not stupid.)
