Auctioning The Irons

Any Iron Maiden fans with a hundred odd quid to spend, or possibly a couple of thousand might want to check out their current ebay auction. You have until Sunday to bid on a host of signed t-shirts and tour programmes (all around the ton mark at the moment) or a signed Dave Murray Strat, played by said shaggy blonde rocker throughout their recent tour. It's currently sitting at £3,400 so make sure you've finished your Christmas shopping if you're thinking of bidding.

All items are signed by all six members of the band along with their old drummmer Clive Burr and the monies raised by the auction will go to the Clive Burr MS Trust.

With a live album out this year, a live DVD and new studio album out next, a hideously successful tour, massive US recognition, and high profile egg-fight with the Osbournes, it's been a good year for the Irons and tonight Clive will present one of his old Maiden drum kits to the Hard Rock Cafe on Old Park Lane to celebrate the release of a DVD charting the history of the Hard Rock's memorabilia.
