Coldplay tickets, buy or sell Coldplay tickets...

Yes, that's what they'll be shouting outside Earls Court between 14th and 16th November as the monarchs of melody roll back into town, with his royal Verveness, Richard Ashcroft in support. Tickets go on sale Friday, you should know the drill by now. Chances are there won't be many left by lunch time. And whilst you're all rushing out to bring down London's phone lines here are a few more dates recently announced:

Tuneful rock Swedes, The Shout Out Louds will be at 93 Feet East on September 14, and then at Frog at the Mean Fiddler on the 17th just ahead of their new album, the wonderfully titled Howl Howl Gaff Gaff.

Former Beta Band frontman, Steve Mason, takes his excellent side project King Biscuit Time down to our new favourite venue, Cargo, on September 26, and expect new material in the spring.

Echo And The Bunnymen are at Shepherd's Bush, November 1st in support of their new album, Siberia.

A couple of days later (3rd and 4th), and about as far removed from Ian and the lads as you could get, Sheryl Crow plays two nights at Hammersmith.

That extra Foos date we warned you about will be the 18th December at Earls Court enormodome.

But what we really really really want for Christmas is to go see Shane MacGowan back again with The Pogues for their soon to be anual yuletide jaunt at Brixton on the 20th and 21st.

Finally way ahead into next year Scots pomp rockers Simple Minds downsize from the stadia of old to find a new lease of life at the Astoria on February 13 (it's a Monday not a Friday by the way).

Now if your bank balance can take all that then you're doing waaaay better than we are. Enjoy the weekend folks.
