Best Of British At Harrods

Last week we showed you very good reason not to visit Harrods, so this week we thought we'd better even things up by giving you a decent reason to visit the store.

Over the next two weeks Harrods is going to be showcasing "the best Britain has to offer" with it's Best of Brit-ish event, which includes students from the Royal College of Music performing on Kemble pianos, an 'extreme tea drinking' competition, tastings of British classics (Walkers shortbread, Bendicks bittermints etc), a demonstration on how to make Wellington boots and even the English National Ballet performing to music by the Chemical Brothers.

On top of all that the store will also be running British food promotions in the food hall, as today is also the beginning of British Food fortnight today (as if you didn't know).

We don't think Mo' has got round to installing his sculpture yet so if you go in the next week so you might get away with not having to see it.
