Joy oh joy: "Heart 106.2 is set to launch its biggest-ever TV and press campaign to promote the arrival of new presenter, Jamie Theakston."

According this report the MOR station will be presenting Theakston (their replacement for Jono Coleman) as "a metaphor for radio, putting some humour into everyday early morning scenarios such as waking up, making toast and driving to work."

Sounds hilarious doens't it?

The campaign of three 30-second spots will run on Carlton, LWT, Channel 4, Five and satellite channels including ITV2, E4, Living and UK Style from 16 May, and there's going to be print ads in the Evening Standard, Metro, Metro Life and Time Out. So there's going to be no escaping what the creatives are calling "Theakston's natural, witty personality"

Well, it worked for Johnny Vaughan so...oh no, wait, they were hateful too.
