The Raindance East Film Festival is now less than a week away. Londonist is a big fan of Raindance and we’ve already given you the run down on the festival highlights in preparation for our upcoming coverage.
In this Oscar™-winning documentary, directors Zana Briski and Ross Kauffman chronicle the amazing transformation of the children they come to know in Calcutta’s red light district. Briski, a professional photographer, supplies them with cameras and encouragement and sets them off on a life-changing journey of learning and self-discovery that may just provide a way out of their squalid surroundings.
The screening at the Rio Cinema, will begin at 7pm on Thursday April 28th and be followed by a party. Are we good to you guys or what?
