Not too much information on this one yet - but the news channels are reporting that a man has been "beheaded" in Swiss Cottage.
About 9:30 this morning in Eton Avenue witnesses reported a violent attack in a residential road. Apparently a 60-year-old man was either "fully or partially" decapitated.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested at the scene and reports are that he was "wielding a medieval axe".

A bit more information coming through. The victim wasn't completely beheaded but was dead on the scene. It seems an axe was the weapon but the medieval part isn't in any way confirmed. The media seem to be concentrating on the "how could something like this happen in area like that" aspect of things.
The whole area has been cordoned off.
