FROG have done it again, and as if to prove they've got more balls than that stupid annoying mobile-ringtone-toting amphibian, they're putting on not one, not three, not fifty-seven, but two shows on for you this Saturday.

The special one-off FROG Saturday Matinee features Babyshambles at Nambucca (596 Holloway Road, nearest tubes Archway or Holloway Road). As per usual for FROG, advance tickets aren't available, which might be a good thing, given Babyshambles' track record in turning up to their own gigs. Doors open at 12.30pm, and you'll have to hope you're one of the first 200 people in line, otherwise you won't get in. Entry is £6 which includes discounted entry to the normal Saturday night FROG, which takes place as usual at the Mean Fiddler on Charing Cross Road, 11pm-4am. The Black Velvets (pictured right) headline this particular one. Check website for details.

Friday night sees the March instalment of club:HEDONISTIC at the Islington Bar Academy (which is above the plain old Academy). Entry's free and you get to see Piranha Deathray, Termites and Hedon (acoustic set) with support with special guest Gary Dunne, from Ireland. Headlining will be Weapons of Mass Belief (pictured right). Considering it's free, it'd be churlish not to go.
